Noah is currently a CI AI Education Fellow at the Computing Research Association (CRA) in Washington, DC, where he is contributing to national efforts to define AI learning goals and scalable models for undergraduate education. He serves as the lead Fellow for the NSF LEVEL UP AI project, which aims to establish consensus on the articulation of the AI knowledge areas, identify the enabling infrastructure needed for expanding high-quality AI education, and develop strategies for increasing AI education capacity.

Prior to this, Noah was a Ph.D student in Information Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder working to better understand pedagogy and curriculum design, cognition and social psychology, and remote and in-person learning in order to inform decisions in making computer science and AI courses better at engaging and retaining students. He has been particularly interested in the transfer of concepts from algebra to programming, due to the conceptual and theoretical similarities between disciplines and the practical constraints of our education systems.
